I also didn't love it the first time around, because I thought the flavor was a little lacking. I think that the glaze, or at least some powdered sugar, is helpful to give the cake a little boost.Littlebakerbunnyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15771654208538302636noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3979669014959584013.post-5353738062047864172011-07-31T23:15:09.958-04:002011-07-31T23:15:09.958-04:00Bundt look deliciously beautiful, It is so pretty ...Bundt look deliciously beautiful, It is so pretty and I'm sure it is equally delicious. It does look a tad overbaked. It is so pretty and such a nice shape and photos well, but it does look a bit dry. But sometimes that's what ice cream is for...melts in a little and fixes dry baked goods in a flash. Anyway, glad your hubby liked it...that is quite important.Kris' Kitchenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15135658114728468080noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3979669014959584013.post-62268860931460220632011-07-31T15:33:01.915-04:002011-07-31T15:33:01.915-04:00I love your comment about how Baked recipes always...I love your comment about how Baked recipes always result in a mountain of dirty dishes! TOO TRUE!!!

I cooked mine for 45 minutes and it was the perfect amount of time. I would have been sad if I'd left it in any longer, even though my knife didn't come out clean when I tested it. And the "moist but dry" description is spot-on, too." I was wondering if that was a bundt cake thing.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3979669014959584013.post-4281232462889326202011-07-31T15:31:57.251-04:002011-07-31T15:31:57.251-04:00Thanks for the great comments everyone!

We haven't tasted that one yet, so not sure if it is on the dry side or not. Try it with the glaze and see how you like it because it really moistens the cake.Elainehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13528705304212511604noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3979669014959584013.post-32437527199041450232011-07-31T09:44:53.692-04:002011-07-31T09:44:53.692-04:00well, it looks pretty! mine is still in the oven....well, it looks pretty! mine is still in the oven...in a regular pan, so we'll see how it goes!mrs. hopehttp://www.holdmyhope.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3979669014959584013.post-1001599906322921012011-07-31T09:42:45.091-04:002011-07-31T09:42:45.091-04:00Love your bundt!
